AF-6582-C2 Fabricated "Short" Valve Covers for 86-95 Mustang (Bare Aluminum)

Anderson Valve Covers for 86-95 Mustang. With growing demand and popularity we have added another option to our popular line up of fabricated valve covers. This short version clears most roller rockers and aftermarket intake manfolds. This unique design works with aftermarket intake manifolds on the 94-95 Mustang. This design works for naturally aspirated combos. The filler tube has a 1/4" barb fitting to allow for factory vent hose attachments. 

Special unique design. We targeted fitment for the 94-95 unique intake manfold elbow design and clearance for the altnernator location.

Bare Aluminum finish.

The get as much clearance as possible we removed the baffling from the fill tube.

Special Notes for SN95 cars:

* For naturally aspirated combos but can be altered for forced induction.

* We did not add AN fittings since space is limited and every setup can be different, however you can simply add fittings and drill holes for placement of AN fittings for supercharged or turbocharged applications. Use AF-52230 for bolt on 10AN fittings.

* These were designed to be used with aftermarket performance intake manifolds with the elbow adapter for SN95 cars. Factory intake manfolds with factory EGR equipment may face clearance issues. 

* The factory EGR tube may need modified if still being used 

* We highly recommend using valve cover gaskets AF-6123 or similar style gaskets to avoid leaking.

Other fitment notes:

* Does NOT fit with rocker girdles

* Works with many standard aftermarket cylinder heads but not larger ones that require raised height valve covers

* Fits stock and GT40/GT40P iron heads

Finish Note: Natural / raw aluminum finish means there is no extra finishing on the material once assembled. The finish is exactly how the raw material was recieved for manufacturing. There may be flaws or stains from welding or handling. This allows for a cheaper price and allows the consumer to polish, powder coat or paint them to there liking.

Manufacturing Note: These are hand-made and fully welded aluminum, warping of the flanges is not uncommon with the amount of heat caused by welding. This is expected which is why we highly recommend part number AF-6123 or similar valve cover gaskets. These type of gaskets have thick malleable rubber with a metal insert to form to the cylinder head and the valve cover. If this type of valve cover gasket is not used then leaking could be possible.
