AFM is now offering builder series engine packages. Builder series allows customers and car enthusiasts to assemble the main components for there new engine. This allows you to save some money over full retail. Many long blocks on the market come with great components but may not be the exact high performance you are looking for. AFM's builder series gives you a high end top end kit plus a brand NEW shortblock consisting of OEM+ components and high end assembly components to give you the performance you are looking for. This engine kit will give you an assembled shortblock from Blue Print Engines using there NEW 4 bolt main high strength engine block. It will also include a choice of AFM camshaft above that clears the included heads and pistons. This will also include a new 5qt. rear sump oil pan kit that fits this engine block. Builder series engines will still require addtional components and will depend on what vehicle you are installing this engine into. Fox Body Platforms are the most common but this will fit into a SN95 as well with additional components. 

347 Builder Series Kit includes the following:

Blue Print Engines BP-347 Shortblock (cast crank, forged pistons, 4 bolt main block)

AFR-1388-8019 Renegade 185 cylinder heads (58cc chamber)

Edelbrock Performer RPM II intake manifold (black available)

Anderson N61, N71 or B41 camshaft options

Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain

ARP head bolts

Trick Flow reducer bushings

Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers

Trick Flow 6.4" Pushrods

Trick Flow standard hydraulic roller lifters

Blue Print Engines Rear Sump Oil Pan Kit

Melling High Performance Oil Pump (standard volume) 10687

Fel Pro Gasket Kit

This engine kit will give you most of the components needed to complete a long block assembly, however additional components are needed, you will need to reuse or source a lifter retainer kit, Flexplate/Flywheel for 28oz external balance along a new 28oz harmonic balancer. A timing cover for the proper vehicle you are installing this engine into and valve covers. SN95 cars will need a intake manifold throttle body adapter. AFM 6582 series valve covers will clear the roller rockers. 

No warranty on builder series engines. Blue Print offers a limited warranty on there components, please review Blue Print Engines warranty info for more information. 

Horsepower & torque will depend on which camshaft being used along with transmission and other driveline components (throttle body, exhaust, Power Pipe, etc...). For ex. With a TKX transmission, 3.55 gears, B41 cam, 75mm Throttle Body, Catted H-Pipe and custom tuning we have dynoed this combination to 376 rwhp and 388 ft lbs of torque.

These components ship from multiple locations which can delay delivery timeframes. Expect shortlbocks to be 2-12 weeks depending on availability at the time of order. Could possible be sooner. Top end components could ship sooner. If you wish for everything to ship around the same time we can hold the shipments at your request.
