B-31HR Camshaft 2500-6500 Range

B-31HR Camshaft works with stock OEM pistons with 1.6 roller rockers. Must check piston to valve clearance. RPM range 2500-6500. Hydraulic Roller. Steel Core. Use steel camshaft gear. Mild lope idle.

This is the cam used in AFM's project "Everyman"

Recommendations:

302-347 cubic inch. N20, 12-17lbs Supercharged/Turbocharged. Best for 6200-6500 rpm shift points. Great with TFS, AFR Renegade or Edelbrock heads. Recommended 3.55 - 4.10 gears, good drivability down to 2000 rpm, mild idle, rpm range 2500-6500, automatic needs 2400-2900 converter.
Must have Anderson H-Rev valve springs or PAC Racing valve springs with a minimum 150 seat pressure. Highly recommend custom tuning for maximum hp gain. 94-95 Mustangs require a custom tune.

Note* Will NOT fit stock pistons on a 1986 5.0L without valve reliefs in the pistons

Fits the following cylinder heads with stock OEM pistons from 87-95 5.0L

AFR-1399 Air Flow Research Renegade 165cc with 1.9 valves

AFR-1341 Air Flow Reasearch Enforcer 185cc with 1.9 valves

TFS-51410002-M61 TrickFlow 170cc Twisted Wedge with 2.02 valves

ED-60225 Edelbrock Performer RPM 170cc with 1.9 valves

We do not recommend running this cam with stock E7 or stock GT40 iron heads.
